Malta's direct-booking platform for boat charters and sea experiences.
Built for local operators first. A flat 12% commission — well below the big platforms. Paid every Monday. Every booking comes with the customer's details.
The platforms take a quarter of every booking. And a month to pay.
Malta is on track for roughly 4.5 million visitors in 2026. A huge share of them will book their boat tour, their Blue Lagoon trip, their sunset cruise — not directly with the captain, but through a platform that takes 20 to 30 percent and settles at the end of the month.
That model works for the platforms. It works less well for the people who actually run the boats. BookItMalta exists because the operators of Malta deserve a booking channel that pays them more, pays them sooner, and gives them back the one thing the big platforms never return: the relationship with the customer.
Three things the incumbents won't fix.
12% flat. Not 25%.
A flat 12% on every booking through BookItMalta. GetYourGuide and Viator typically charge 20–30%. The difference — up to €180 on every €1,000 charter — is yours to keep or to pass on.
Paid every Monday.
Weekly settlement of the previous seven days. No more waiting for month-end. Cashflow that matches how you actually run the season.
The customer is yours.
Every booking comes with the full email, phone and preferences. Follow up, upsell, invite them back next summer. You own the relationship.
BookItMalta versus the incumbent platforms.

Three steps, one season.
Onboard
We build your listing — fleet, seasonal pricing, availability, photography. You review and approve. Usually ten days from signature to live.
Book
Customers find you through BookItMalta or your own channel and book direct. Real-time availability. Automated confirmation via WhatsApp and email.
Paid
Every Monday morning, last week's bookings settle to your account. Full transparency in your operator dashboard — revenue, commission, customer contacts.
La Zingara is already accepting bookings.
The full BookItMalta marketplace opens Summer 2026. Our first founding partner — La Zingara Catamaran Charters, a Lagoon catamaran for up to 28 guests out of Sliema — is live today.
Blue Lagoon day charters, Gozo & Comino adventures, sunset cruises. Book direct with the captain. Keep the 20–30% that the big platforms normally take.
Three ways to partner.
Pick the level of support that fits your business. Commission is what you pay on bookings we drive. The retainer reflects the work we do on your behalf — listing build, SEO, content, support. Both are simple, flat, and yours to choose.

Bookings open Summer 2026.
The Blue Lagoon, Comino caves, Gozo by sea, sunsets from the deck. Directly from Malta's best local operators — no middleman markup. Join the list and we'll send one email when bookings open.
Answers, before you ask.
Which categories are you launching with?
At launch: catamaran charters, RIB and speedboat trips, sunset cruises, and fishing charters. Dive boats and yacht charters are in the pipeline for late 2026.
Who's behind BookItMalta?
BookItMalta is built by TrueNorthDigital — a Malta-based technology studio that has already built direct-booking infrastructure for local charter operators, including La Zingara Catamaran Charters. The same team, the same approach, now opened up to the rest of the market.
How does the 12% commission work exactly?
12% flat on every booking confirmed through BookItMalta — website bookings, WhatsApp bookings attributable to the platform, phone bookings from leads we send you. It does not apply to existing customers you already book independently, or to bookings from third-party platforms like GetYourGuide that you still use.
What does the €250/month retainer cover?
Listing management, content updates, technical maintenance, customer-support coverage, analytics, and priority placement in our SEO and content strategy. For founding partners, €250/month is locked for Year 1 (then €350/month from Year 2).
Am I allowed to still use GetYourGuide and Viator?
Yes. BookItMalta is designed to complement your existing channels, not replace them. Over time, most of our founding partners expect direct bookings to become their highest-margin channel — but that's your call, not ours.
When exactly do bookings open for travellers?
Summer 2026. Precise launch date depends on the pace of operator onboarding. Founding partners go live as soon as their listing is ready — the consumer-facing site opens once we have full category coverage.
